| What things have gone wrong with the car? | AC saps all power from the engine. Brakes squeak. Seat belts don't retract right. The sealing strips on the passenger side door are warped and water leaks in sometimes. I pretty muched fixed it with a small strip of adhesive, though. | |
| General comments? | I bought the car from a guy who picked it up at an insurance auction and fixed it up. It had 62k on it, I've put on another 12k. Apparently he did a pretty good job because I have had practically no problems with it. Once it was having problems starting in the cold, but cleaning off the battery terminals was all it needed. Oh yeah, the molding strip along the passenger side whipped off once while on the highway. Had to pay 80 bucks for a new one. That sucked a little. It's my first car and I'm happy with the purchase. Not really my dream machine, but it moves me around and is fairly fun to drive. Looks nice. | |
